Everything we make, with current market prices. Seasonal flavors come and go, so what is on the table depends a little on the month.
Butter, cream, and organic cane sugar cooked slowly in a copper kettle until the sugar turns the color of a fir cone, then poured, cooled overnight, and cut by hand. Soft enough to fold, firm enough to survive a jacket pocket.
Six-piece pouch unless noted
Hard candy pulled the old way, with real fruit purée and pressed juice doing the work that flavor oils and dye normally do. The color in the tin is the color of the fruit.
Two-ounce tin; lollipops sold individually
Nuts toasted the morning of, folded into hot sugar, and spread thin so it snaps instead of sticking to your teeth. Made in small trays and broken by hand, which is why no two bags look alike.
Four-ounce bag
Pulled taffy and soft fruit chews, wrapped one at a time in wax paper. No corn syrup, which means a shorter shelf life and a much better chew.
Half-pound bag
Pectin-set gummies made with fruit purée and juice instead of flavoring, so they are soft, a little cloudy, and honestly colored. Gelatin-free, which makes them vegetarian.
Three-ounce pouch
Twelve assorted caramels in a kraft box with a ribbon and a card. The one people buy on their way to someone else's house.
